With your help, DOVE will continue to move forward as we create a safe, accessible, and welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to serving our clients with dignity and respect.

Over the past 41 years, DOVE (DOmestic Violence Ended) has been the only social service organization to exclusively serve victims of domestic violence in Norfolk County and the Commonwealth’s South Shore. DOVE is a trusted organization in our community, helping families move from crisis to safety, hope, and healing.

As the population in our communities grows, the demand for DOVE’s expertise and support is growing exponentially. In the past year, DOVE has provided services and community education to over 8,000 individuals, more than triple the number served less than a decade ago.

In order to meet this growing need, DOVE is excited to announce we have moved to a larger, more accessible location in Quincy Center in June of 2019 creating the DOVE Community Resource Center. This move is the crucial first step in DOVE’s vision to meet the current and future needs of the individuals and businesses living and working in our communities.

The new space is triple the square footage of DOVE’s former location and will enable DOVE to honor its commitment to saving and improving lives. DOVE’s Board and Leadership Team identified this move as a top strategic priority in order to achieve the organization’s mission to end domestic violence. The new Quincy Center location has better access to public transportation and the room to grow programs and services in conjunction with the growing needs of the community. In the coming years, we will be working on phase two of this vision in order to expand our ability to provide emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children.
