Meet The Athletes!
Michael Bighinatti
Mike is a Senior Accountant for American Tower Corporation, working in the Woburn, MA location. Born in Connecticut where he was raised his whole life, Mike was very active in his early life playing a multitude of sports. He was introduced to Ultimate Frisbee in high school which he continued to develop in college alongside Jacob Garfinkel. Upon graduation and with no organized sports driving exercise, Mike found triathlons to fill the void. To date, he has completed four with his longest being the half ironman in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Mike has fallen in love with the passion the people hold within the sport. He wants to bring the same passion found in triathlons to gaining awareness to social issues such as domestic violence. This is a great way for Mike to combine forces for the two.
Noah Ellis
Noah is a model with Maggie.Inc working in their Boston location. Noah lives in his hometown of Hingham where he grew up playing soccer, hockey, and lacrosse for his local high school. After graduation, Noah went on to play lacrosse at Onondaga winning the national championship in 2013. Noah transferred to UMass Boston his sophomore year where he continued to play lacrosse and study communications. Noah is one of the more experienced triathletes on the Dudes4Dove team and helped the team get properly equipped for the coming triathlons. Noah joined the fight to end domestic violence with DOVE to not only bring attention to a problem that affects the health of individuals and families but also support initiatives directly within his community.
Jacob Garfinkel
Jacob is a Sales Executive at Alyce, a budding startup in Boston’s high-tech scene. His journey started in the hills of Western MA, where he first fell in love with the outdoors and living an active, socially conscious lifestyle. After many years of playing organized sports such as soccer, lacrosse, basketball and ultimate frisbee; his love for ultimate prevailed, and he spent his tenure at Bryant University leading the team to four National Championship appearances.
During this time, he found passion for instilling benevolence in peers, and held positions as an Orientation Leader, Resident Assistant, Student Support Network member, and a social advocate for the Community Activism and Leadership Organization. After graduating with a BS in International Business and Entrepreneurship, he was determined to pursue these interests in tandem, and thus turned to the common threads in all his past activities — social responsibility and endurance training! Both take persistence, but always bear fruit for the individual and communities they are a part of; hence, this newest endeavor of racing triathlons for a cause. Jacob is humbled to be on the Dudes4Dove team dedicated to ending domestic violence, and is eager to drive awareness for this underserved problem.
